St. Andrews Camping Trip – Part Ten
Scotland, St. Andrews – The eastern coast of Scotland where I enjoyed my camping trip at the end of April 2011. I had a lot of fun whilst I was up there, it was a great laugh. This video for example had it’s funny moments with the surveillance cameras recording the room and my friends posing with the guns. I am used to seeing the Scottish Highlands like Fort William, Glencoe and Loch Lomond, so it was definitely worth it seeing the east coast as I’m not out there that often. The Secret Bunker is situated in the southern part of St. Andrews, perhaps closer to Lower Largo which was the beach we had visited on the way back to Glasgow City. The Bunker was very interesting to see, but could not help but feel depressed watching the videos shown in both cinema halls. It’s rather disturbing to think what happened in both World Wars. Seeing just how people suffered, the way people would have lived, It gives you a sense and feeling of just how tragic those times were, as well as the living conditions. Amazing how much Technology has changed over time as well. I did find it rather funny though that it was called the Secret Bunker, purely because it is sign posted directions on how to get to the place. Of course though, I’m only joking around, I know that at one time, there would have been nothing sign posted and no one would’ve known anything about it.
