We set off for West Highland Way on June 11th and I unfortunately came back 2 days later as I couldn’t walk further due to bad feet. I had bad blisters and bruised toe nails. Regardless though, I loved the scenery and was definitely hard going. I think next time I set off to do West Highland Way, I would do it by accommodation, and not aiming to do it over a period of six days, purely because six days is pretty much torture. This video is the start of the walk, leaving Milnegavie town centre heading off into the Scottish country side. The first day we walked 22 miles to Balmaha, which is the southern eastern point of Loch Lomond from Glasgow.
